Who We are
The Ontario Royals Baseball Club
The Ontario Royals Baseball Club - founded in 2003 as the Oakville Royals - is an elite College-Prep Baseball Program that competes in the Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL).
Our goal is to maximize the potential of every player - through player development and coaching, as well as competition opportunities and exposure.
As we enter into our 23 rd playing season as a program, we continue to strive to help our players meet their potential – both on the field, and off.
Elite College-Prep Baseball Program
Our Elite College-Prep Baseball Program is designed for dedicated athletes with the goal of competing at the collegiate level and beyond. Through advanced training, high-level competition, and expert coaching, we provide players with the tools needed to elevate their performance and stand out in the recruiting process.
Athletes benefit from position-specific instruction, strength and conditioning programs, and a data-driven approach to player development that focuses on measurable growth. Our coaching staff emphasizes not only technical skill and game strategy, but also the mental discipline, work ethic, and leadership required to succeed at the next level.
Competing in top-tier tournaments and showcase events, our players gain valuable exposure to college coaches and recruiters. We also provide guidance throughout the recruitment process, including academic support, player profiling, and communication strategies to help athletes find the right collegiate fit.
This program is built for serious players who are committed to their development and ready to take the next step in their baseball journey.

COLLEGE PLACEMENT
The Ontario Royals program provides College Placement services to all of our players and families - helping to guide them through the process of choosing a post-secondary option that suits both their academic and athletic aspirations.
To date, we have assisted in the placement of over 250 Royals at the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, OUA, and OCAA levels.
Our college placement process begins for our players at our younger age levels through College Placement information sessions held throughout the off-season. We have up to date US and Canadian College/University and Student Athlete resources on-hand to assist players and families in their process.
As players reach their upper academic years, the Royals adopt a direct and personalized approach to college placement, meeting with each athlete and their family individually to develop a short-list of collegiate options for that individual player. Players are then assisted in creating their recruitment video that will be sent directly to collegiate coaches, and arranging official visits to colleges and universities.
Our Fall Collegiate Trip as well as our Florida Collegiate Trip are both major pieces of the college placement process for our players at the 17U and 18U levels – playing over 20 games against current college competition.
