Ontario Royals to Expand for 2026-27 Season

The Ontario Royals are excited to be expanding operations in 2026-27 with the additions of a 13U Team (players born in 2014), and 14U Minor Team (players born in 2013).

These two, younger age-level teams will join the Royals pre-established 14U Major, 15U, 16U, 17U, and 18U teams that compete in the CPBL.

Both teams will operate on a similar yearly cycle to our other teams with the following schedule:

Fall Baseball

• 5 weeks September – mid-October on-field
• 12 – 16 games (weekends)
• On-field Practices (mid-week)
• Professional coaches
• Intro to strength & conditioning
• Intro to arm-care
• Indoor facility use
• Player apparel package

Off-Season (Winter) Training

• 20+ weeks off-season team training
• 1 x team training per week Nov/Dec
• 2 x team training per week Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr
• Florida Winter Development Trip
• Introductory strength/conditioning/agility/movement programming
• Ontario Royals Scout Day (organizational showcase day)

Spring/Summer Season

• 40-50 Spring/Summer game schedule (late April – mid-August)
• 2 US Tournaments
• 1 Canadian Tournament
• On-field practices and indoor facility use throughout season

Head Coaches for both new teams have been assigned, and rosters will start to be selected following our tryout process – beginning Saturday April 25th (more details to follow) and continuing throughout the Spring/Summer of 2026.
